When you arrive at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds, please don’t enter through the main entrance. Instead, use Gate 5 on Swans Falls Rd.
*Auction on Saturday night
There will be an Auction on Saturday night at the dinner. Please consider donating other items. Here are the items that we currently know about:
1.) Custom OAK slack tub made by Ed Ludjens of the Portland Barrel Company 2.) Really cool axe complete with handle made by Joel Tripp 3.) One antique wall-mounted drill press donated by Dale Johnson. It’s a Canedy-Otto #16, the largest post drill they made. It includes a single phase motor, jackshaft, and vise,and seems to be in very good condition. Bid early and often and bring your truck, it probably weighs 300+/- pounds (in multiple pieces). 4.) One brand-new blacksmith apron donated by FORGE-APRONS of Utah.
*Forging Contest Saturday Night
There will be a forging contest Saturday after the meeting. This will be a fun event and is open to all experience levels. Prizes will be tongs and a guillotine tool.
