events to be held in 2012 at the Brentwood Teaching Center:
OPEN FORGE DATES
Last Saturday of the Month
The First open forge will start on
March 30th!!
The open forge program will be the last Sat. of the
month through Nov.
The teaching center closes for the winter months
for open forge sessions
The facility will be open and staffed from 9am to 4pm
on these days (read below about half days)
"Open Forges" - further defined....
The Brentwood Teaching Center in Brentwood NH will be
open and staffed one day a month for members to get some fire time. You
can show up with a project in mind or some ideas can be suggested by the
instructor.
This is a perfect opportunity to do that project you
always wanted to tackle but didn't for lack of tooling, space, extra set
of knowledgeable hands.
The cost will be $10.00 for the day. If one's project
includes using substantial resource, IE. considerable steel or expensive
fuel gases, an additional lab fee may be assessed.

If staff working at the open forge has no one show up
in the morning - they may leave at noon - so be sure to contact the
above people about only being able to make it in the afternoon.
SAFETY GLASSES ARE A MUST + BOOTS or suitable shoes, pants & long
sleeves
NOTE: All events will run from 9AM to 4PM unless otherwise
noted.
Instructors and forgemasters reserve the right to limit class size.
